When the House of Meilland Richardier wanted to dedicate a rose bush to Jeanne Moreau that would bear her name, they were aware that it had to be something exceptional, like the great lady of French cinema: one in a million. This is how this variety emerged, which develops large flowers with about 100 bluish-white petals and an intense and intoxicating perfume , in a plant with dense foliage.
The “Jeanne Moreau” rose bush has early, very abundant and continuous flowering; Its flowers have a notable diameter of about 14 cm, and the plant reaches a height of 80 to 90 cm in its mature stage. The numerous awards and distinctions it has obtained are other arguments to recommend this rose bush even more. We are talking about the Medal for Fragrance in Geneva and Saverne in 2002, the Silver Medal in Baden-Baden in 2002, the Le Roeulx Certificate in 2002 or the Bronze Medal in Gifu (Japan) in 2008.
Recommended for obtaining cut flowers for vase or floral arrangements. The cut flower lasts approximately 7-10 days.
