In 1986, David Austin decided to create a rose bush with bright pink flowers and approximately 80 petals each. And to complete it, he gave it a powerful and refined perfume . And she decided to call this creation “Gertrude Jekyll.”
This is how this spectacular floribunda rose bush came to life, full of color and romanticism, which should not be missing in any garden in the world. It is certainly not missing in any of our gardens, whether in Bârlad, Azuga, Timișoara or Murfatlar, and there are already many friends who write to us from various places saying that they want to beautify their lives with this wonderful rose bush.

At Famous Roses, we have noticed that “Gertrude Jekyll” really likes the sun, but it also adapts to semi-shaded areas. In its adult stage, it should reach a height of 120-140 cm. And if for some reason it doesn't take root, although there is little chance of that happening, don't worry, because we offer a rooting guarantee for all the rose bushes we ship.
